Basically, an internship is the initial stage of graduates to learn the office working environment to start a professional life. There are several internship opportunities in many organizations. 

Some organizations pick the fresh slot from universities to provide them practical work experience and some using different methods to acquire interns i.e. through the announcement and conduct the short test and select the most appropriate graduate for further polishing. 


What is an Internship for College Students?


Organizations run the internship cycle i.e. in a summer internship program or winter internship program. Students who passed their 16 years of education from reputed universities are eligible to enter the internship cycle for further experience gain.

Summer internship (project-based): Final year students of B.COM, BBA / MBA from top tier universities with minimum 3.0 CGPA.

Multi-national organizations announced bulk internship opportunities to all student from all over the world and conduct an extensive selection process to filter the most deserving and intelligent students for the internship. Its call virtual internship and all students interact with their respective supervisor through online and get fieldwork to increase the professional experience according to their field of interest.

Middle level organizations contact with different universities to enroll students individually and delegate tasks to complete. This is a minor level internship opportunities which provide by the national level organizations or even city level organizations collaborate with an educational institution to acquire fresh blood to boost up their expertise and later on they offer employment to the intern.

Stipend:
Stipend will be paid according to the budget allocated by the board or with the approval of president/Board.

What is a Paid Internship?
The paid internship is subject to the availability of funding to pay a stipend to the internees on a monthly basis.  The paid internship duration is a maximum of 12 weeks to conclude it within the mentioned time frame. During the paid internship, students deliver quality tasks/ research findings to the employers in the shape of the internship completion report. An employer design a complete task checklist for the interns to get initial research reports and for this, the employer facilitates the internship program in different sessions.

Internship Opportunities:
Occasionally organizations offer internship programs to fresh students to give them opportunities to be familiar regarding the office working environment. Most employers prefer to induct experience and qualified persons into full-time employment. Getting an internship in well-known organizations is the key success in the student’s professional life. Well, known and reputed organizations arrange best practices, outdoor exposures and field activities to the interns. An internship completion certificate from a well-reputed organization is key to success in a future professional career. For this, maximum students try to enroll in the best organization for acquiring a good exposure.

Period & Number of Interns:
Regular Internship
4 to 12 weeks (May – September).
Maximum 2 internees per branch.

Upon Completion:
Project the report being submitted by the internet to the Human Resource department.
Presentation to be given by the internet to respective Functional Head /Mentor / HR.
Evaluation form to be filled out by the respective line manager / Departmental Head.
Internship the process may be revised from time to time based on the market practice.
