HBL ATM Card Activation through SMS:
- Send an SMS in the following format to 4250:
- DC(Last 4 digits of your Debit card)
- Example: DC5687
You will receive a 5-digit activation code on your
registered mobile number.
Visit any HBL ATM and follow the on-screen instructions
to activate your card.
HBL ATM Card Activation through HBL Mobile App:
- Download and install the HBL Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the app and log in with your HBL account credentials.
- Tap on the More tab and select Card Management.
- Tap on Debit Cards and then Activate Card.
- Enter the following details:
- Card number
- Expiry date
- New PIN
- CNIC number
- Tap on Activate.
HBL ATM Card Activation Through HBL ATM:
- Visit any HBL ATM.
- Insert your HBL ATM card and select your preferred language.
- Enter the 5-digit activation code.
- Enter your date of birth (DD-MM-YYYY).
- Enter your 13-digit CNIC number.
- Enter a 4-digit ATM PIN of your choice using the keypad.

How to Activate HBL Konnect ATM Card?
To activate the HBL Konnect ATM card, you need to follow the
given below steps. Make sure all the information you provide is true and match
able to your account documents.
Check your SMS inbox for the one-time ATM activation code. This code will be sent to your registered mobile number when the account is tagged with the debit card at the agent's location.
- Visit any HBL ATM.
- Insert your HBL Konnect ATM card and select your preferred language.
- Enter the OTP ATM activation code.
- Enter your date of birth (DD-MM-YYYY).
- Enter your 13-digit CNIC number.
- Enter a 4-digit ATM PIN of your choice using the keypad.
- Re-enter the ATM PIN for validation.
- Your HBL Konnect ATM card will be activated once you have completed these steps.
However, the following additional information is very important to keep in mind while acting on Konnect ATM Card:
- The activation code is valid for 3 days.
- You can only activate your card once.

How to Use HBL Biometric ATM?
The biometric ATM card activation process is similar to
other ways; however, during the process, your physical appearance is mandatory
to get fingerprints: you need to approach any HBL branch to do so.
- Visit any HBL ATM that supports biometric verification.
- Insert your HBL ATM card and select your preferred language.
- Place your right thumb on the biometric sensor.
- The ATM will scan your fingerprint and verify your identity.
Once your identity is verified, you will be able to perform any ATM transaction that you would normally do.
Some Additional Things to Keep in Mind:
You must have registered your fingerprint with HBL before
you can use biometric verification at an ATM.
If your fingerprint is not recognized, you will be asked
to enter your ATM PIN.
Biometric verification is not available for all ATM
transactions.
